Caulking of Five Story Curtain Wall & GFRC Panels.

Rigging for buidling: To expedite the job schedule we installed to 50 foot swing stages and two one man baskets.

Job requirements:

Building curtainwall and GFRC panels had serious water infiltration problems and the curtain wall glass was shifting with-in the opening and required inspection and correction to the glass blocks/supports.

To create a watertight window system the vinyl gaskets were cut flush or removed and all metal to metal junctions, attachment screws, weep holes were cleaned, prime and sealed with silicone sealant and premolded silicone strips.

Perimeter expansion joints at windows and GFRC panels were removed, ground and scraped clean, backer rod installed and re-sealed with silicone sealant.

Rigging Day

Load all swing stage supports, safety cables, safety lines, power cables to roof.

 Rigging complete and ready for use.
